7 news. >> thank you, kira. developing news, oakland police are checking into the city's latest homicide. a fatal shoot owing curd just a few hours ago. police aren't saying much about the victim. they pound the victim with a report of shots being fired around 3:00 this morning. when they arrived near ninth and clay streets, they spotted a person suffering from gunshot wounds. victim dialed at the scene. daly city officials are investigating a crash on eastmore avenue that left three people dead. a fourth in the hospital. all of them were cut out of a car broadsided by another vehicle shortly after 8:00 last night. police are trying to piece together what led up to that crash. the second driver stayed at the scene, but police still would like to talk to any witnesses. >> any witnesses tell you about anything that transpired. >> thatafter right now. we are investigating the collision and it's very early in the vision so there will be a lot of work 20 do. >> the sole survivor in the car that was hit is being held for observation at the hospital. detectives have not had the chance

in a shooting in virginia. a delta plane carrying the casket landed at oakland international airport yesterday. sky7hd was overhead as a group of military veterans escorted her body to her home in the oakley area. 19-year-old was one of two marines killed by an instructor last week in quantico, virginia. the gunman is from pacifica. >>> a navy seal killed in a train accident was a member of the elite unit that killed osama bin laden two years ago. he died after colliding with another navy seal midair during a parashooting accident. the other sailor survived, the sailor that died was a member of field team six but it's not clear if he took part in the raid that killed osama bin laden. >> ten bull information were saved from a house fire in concord. firefighters were called to a home on hillsborough drive around 6:30. they found a small fire, a bunch of smoke and all those bulldogs. the flames came from a pot on the kitchen stove. nobody was hurt and the dogs are just fine. >>> we're learning more this morning about how a college student who lied about being raped suffered real injuries. 20-year

out of the east bay, an alameda county sheriff's deputy is recovering after being shot in oakland last night. investigators say the driver deputies pulled over wound up shooting has now died. deputies stopped the car around 9:30 last night at 33rd avenue. a passenger was arrested for drug possession. according to authorities the driver drove away dragging a deputy behind the car. they then opened fire hitting the driver several times. one deputy suffered a gunshot wound to his foot. the suspect fatally wounded, his name has not been released. >>> new details on a shooting early yesterday morning in san francisco. police are searching for the person who shot and killed a college student. it happened near bryant and 24th street streets. the victim was home for spring break. he was visiting with family members. lilian kim has the latest. >> reporter: he is living a parents' worst nightmare. his son was shot and killed right in front of their apartment building in the mission district. he said he heard the gunshots and found his son lying on the ground. >> it hurts. it hurts. mom and dat h
